Ambassadors Geri Grodzinsky and Lisa Carter Medal in Puerta Vallarta

What’s better than visiting Puerta Vallarta in January for some relaxation, sun, and fun? Bringing home medals of course! Ambassadors Geri Grodzinsky and Lisa Carter played in the inaugural El Tigre Mixed Doubles tournament at Paradise Village in Puerta Vallarta. Geri and partner Doug Taylor won gold, while Lisa and partner Rick Schworck won silver.

6 new outdoor pickleball courts being built in Mesquite

The city of Mesquite has exciting news! The city is building six public outdoor courts across the street from the Mesquite Recreation Center. The courts are being modeled after Little Valley in St. George Utah, and are expected to be completed in June.

Steve Carter, co-district ambassador, becomes first certified referee in the Southern Nevada District

At last week’s Happy Trails tournament, co-district ambassador Steve Carter passed his referee on-site evaluation to became the district’s first certified referee. With Steve’s certification, the ambassadors are now working on a referee training program that can lead to the trainee being certified if they wish.
